How the free audit works

1

Tell us who you are

Business name, city, trade. That's everything we need. No signup, no credit card.

2

We ask the AIs — live

We query ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity the way your customers do ("best plumber in …") and check Google for comparison. Real queries, run right now — not cached scores.

3

See who's taking your customers

Your report names the competitors AI recommends instead of you, shows why (in plain English), and gives you the exact fix list — ordered by what actually works.

We're the only ones who'll tell you what doesn't work

Before building this, we ran 143 experiments across 1,000+ real businesses to find out what actually makes ChatGPT recommend one company over another. A lot of what the "AI SEO" industry sells — schema markup, robots.txt tweaks, blog posts, llms.txt files — showed no meaningful effect. We published it all, including the parts that cost us easy sales.

What does work: existing where AI actually looks (Bing, multi-platform review sites), saying what you do and where in the words customers use, and being the specialist for the question being asked. That's what your audit checks — and that's all we'll ever recommend.

Questions, answered honestly

Why doesn't ChatGPT recommend my business?+

Usually one of a handful of fixable reasons: ChatGPT finds businesses through Bing and third-party sites (not Google), so a Google-only presence makes you invisible to it. The most common gaps we find: no website or an AI-unreadable one, reviews on only one platform, and pages that never say what you do and where in the words customers use. Your free audit shows which apply to you.

Is the audit really free?+

Yes — completely. You get the full report: who AI recommends in your area, why, and your fix list. We make money when some businesses ask us to do the fixes for them. Most don't, and that's fine.

Do more Google reviews fix it?+

No — and we have the data to prove it. In our 1,000-business study, review counts were nearly identical between businesses ChatGPT recommends and ones it ignores. What matters is being present on multiple review platforms, not having more reviews on one.

Can you guarantee I'll show up in ChatGPT?+

No — and anyone who guarantees that is lying to you. Nobody controls AI results. What we can do: fix the factors that measurably correlate with AI visibility (from our own published research), document your before-and-after, and typically see movement in 30–90 days. Low-competition areas move faster.

What about schema markup, robots.txt, llms.txt…?+

Mostly theater. We tested these across 1,000 businesses: all under 10% correlation with ChatGPT visibility. We include them as basic hygiene but we'll never sell them to you as 'the fix' — unlike a lot of this industry.

Someone in your town is getting recommended right now.

It takes 60 seconds to find out if it's you.
